I transform landscapes and manmade forms into something new. The pieces represent physical changes on a grand scale —anything from the white braided rivers in Denali to the devastation of a man-made disaster. I cut and manipulate giant sheets of acrylic paint to create the sculptural texture of my pieces. The constant change of light and shadow alters the color and pattern of these creations, breathing life into them.
