After pausing in 2020, Startup Art Fair is finally returning to San Francisco with renewed energy and purpose!
The fair returns April 18-20, 2025, to the fun and funky Hotel Del Sol, the iconic 1950s motor lodge in the beautiful Marina District adjacent to the Bay, the Palace of Fine Arts, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Startup will run concurrently with the prestigious San Francisco Art Fair at Fort Mason, which is within walking distance of the del Sol. By aligning with SF Fair, a cornerstone of the Bay Area art scene since 2011, we're participating in what promises to be an extraordinary weekend of art discovery in San Francisco where tens of thousands of visitors will be coming to discover and buy art.
Created for artists, by artists, Startup Art Fair is a unique platform where independent talents take control of their careers and connect directly with collectors, curators, and art professionals in an intimate boutique hotel setting.
Startup is a destination event, attracting artists, art industry leaders, and art collectors from across the U.S. and as far away as Mexico, China, Europe, and South America. The fair’s unwavering mission to support creative and professional success for independent artists makes us a beacon for starting and seasoned collectors who seek out unique experiences and innovative brands.

Discover over 60 artists--selected by art world experts--who transform hotel rooms into exhibition spaces and offer their works for sale to art lovers of all levels.
Immerse yourself in an engaging line up of special performances and installations by local talents and a program of special exhibitions by nonprofit partners, which have included in the past: Root Division, 3.9 Collective, ArtSpan and Asian American Womens Artists Association.

VIP tickets includes admission to all three days of the fair, an invitation to our "First Look" preview Friday from 12-2pm, all access to our VIP lounge and bar, and exclusive pre-fair collector's tour.
A portion of all ticket sales will benefit SF-based arts non-profit organizations.
