Xan Blood Walker
Art has always pulled at me, a way to touch the magical, mystical, and elemental essence pervading our world. Creativity saved me early on, finding refuge in high school art classes and in discovering photography. The darkroom became my sanctuary; graffiti, my rebellious canvas. After navigating the streets and depths of Seattle, SF, and L.A., I emerged with a BFA in painting and another in printmaking from the University of Washington. Despite disillusionment in grad school, I never lost my passion. Returning to my roots, I rediscovered joy in the process. With a 35mm camera gifted by one of my best friends, my artistic journey soared again.
