Lisa Praster is a 27-year-old photographer from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She graduated almost 7 years ago in Photographic Design and Photography at the University of Applied Photography in Amsterdam, during which she realized her specialty and biggest interest at the time: documentary photography. After a while she started exploring other ways to tell a story through photography, and her work took on a more conceptual and narrative approach. Her work is now often a combination of the two.
Having grown up on the countryside results in her big interest in nature, which is still a big influence on her work today. If it’s walking around in beautiful landscapes around the world, or simply taking natural things she found on her way home – there is always something that motivated her to create new work. The work you see here shows you her ability to capture parts of the human body in such a natural way that it compliments the beauty of nature itself.
