These recent lenticulars are explorations of organic movement, specifically the flow of one color into another and the varying forces that cause new forms. I have been interested in visual illusion for at least thirty years. For the last fifteen years I have been using the lenticular medium which allows viewers to interact with the surface seeing, experiencing movement as they walk by. These begin with an ink painting. I chart the movement of drops of ink on paper in a series of photographs, create an interlace and then laminate the printed interlace to the back of a lens. I have been inspired by water movement, lava and the chemical interaction of the inks.
