I seek jigsaw puzzles as their imagery and mutual fit.
Each paired puzzle is assembled side by side.
The goal is creating two new images that are weighted equally not sacrificing one to another.

Parts from each puzzle are shifted from one to another creating a new image.

No pieces are altered to fit. Fit affects image.
Resolving each new image demands change and rearrange-
ment of not only individual puzzle pieces but also those
immediately surrounding the first moved.
Curiously, the placing and replacing of pieces is much like
painting with its individual strokes, marking, erasing, and re-
painting.

This journey toward completion is curiously akin to painting
with a beginning, first resolution, destruction, and the final
transformation.
