A.E. Richardson

A.E. is self-taught in photography and digital manipulation. She has a PhD from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and spent many years as a health researcher and professor at several prestigious organizations, including the NIH, Johns Hopkins, UNC, and the award-winning truth Initiative, before transitioning to a career as an independent artist. She hopes to use her knowledge of mental health and behavior to create imagery that inspires, educates, and evokes thought. She is especially committed to reaching those most in need by depicting images that address depression and other health conditions as well as images that address the power of faith, love and positive thinking to heal and bring joy.
